About the Organizer
Founded by Rio de la Cruz, a UP Diliman alumnus, international marathoner, and esteemed running coach, RUNRIO INC. emerged in 2007 as Entraineur Events & Sports Management, driven by Rio’s vision to foster the growth and sustainability of running. Witnessing the surge in the running community, the team recognized the demand for more than just well-planned routes, prompting investments in innovative solutions that elevated the standard of organized sporting events in the Philippines.
Over the years, RUNRIO has orchestrated numerous premier races in the country, including the renowned RUNRIO TRILOGY, EARTH DAY RUN, MILO MARATHON, RUN UNITED, CONDURA MARATHON, and more. This has garnered local and international recognition for the company’s advertising value and brand-building capacity. Their website, www.runrio.com, attracts an average of 100,000+ monthly visits, while their Facebook page boasts over 117,000 fans.
Entering 2024, RUNRIO INC. is set for a robust expansion plan, welcoming new partners and gearing up to introduce concept runs and organize races across the Asia Pacific region.
